To finish your costume, you need to add straps to your wings.

To mark the placements for your straps, measure as follows and mark the spot with a safety pin or tiny dot with a pencil or pen. There are three spots for the straps on each wing:

1) Place your wings on your back with the center lined up with your spine, the top “peak” of the wings at the nape of your neck. You could pin it to your back at this point to hold it in place. Pull the wings over your shoulders. Mark where shoulders are.

2) Keeping your arms down, and the wings over your shoulders, let the wings fall over your arms. Mark where your wrists are.

3) Without moving the wings from this position, feel for the top edge of the wing gently grab a wing in each hand. Now lift the wings to chest height, like you’re carrying a big basket in front of you. Mark on the wings where your elbows are.

Now, sew on your “straps” which hopefully you have saved from cutting apart clothes.

Hope this makes sense!
