• Founder and choreographer of Amira's Dancers and Amirat Dance Company

• Producer of Amira's Belly Dance Spectacular (2010-2014) and Dances of Hope and Healing (2015)

• Graduate of Journey Through Egypt 1 and 2 (JtE1 2015, JtE2 2016)

• Former President of Middle East Arts International, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting high quality Middle Eastern performance arts​

• Studied belly dance with Zaphara and Tina Sargent of Seattle, Maleeha of Iowa, Yousry Sharif and Dahlia Carella of New York, Mahmoud Reda of Egypt, Helene Eriksen of Germany/U.S. and other instructors throughout the western United States, Canada, and Australia
